Congrats goes out to Nurse Tiffany, RN for passing her board exams. She now officially lives up to her name. I was beginning to think that we were going to have to rename her.

Also, Congrats to John "V_Murder" Vienneau on his new job. He is working for an advertising firm doing commercials and infomercials and it is a huge step up from his previous job of wiping full-grown adult man ass and watching TV. Veno is one of the most creative people we know and it is great to see him back in the business that he loves.

The Bing-Hamptons, Cookie Puss, and Ham Dinner

File under: Binghamton

Even though my lady friend couldn’t accompany me on my homecoming, I had a great weekend. I was able to see a lot of family and friends. It is always so nice to see everyone and I feel very fortunate to have so many friends that I am still in touch with.

[Thursday 04/17/2003] - I took off for the Bing-Hamptons in my new tricked-out automobile, after work. I arrived on the East Side around 8:00pm. After hanging out with the parental units for a couple of hours, I headed out toSara, Pete, Pat, and Mindy at Carnsie's 04/17/2003 Carnsie’s Irish Pub, which is conveniently located a couple of blocks from my parent’s house. There, I met up with some high school friends and we proceeded to drink and be merry. Take a look at the Binghamton Part I Gallery (04/17/2003) if you don’t believe me.

[Friday 04/18/2003] - I met some of my friends for lunch at Poncho’s Pit. The company was great and the Spiedies were plentiful. After lunch, Pete, Wayne, and I decided to get some birthday presents for our friend Sara. We rolled up at Carvel, and from the moment we walked through the door, I knew it was a mistake. First of all, there were two people in the store when we walked in, and from the smell of it, at least one of them had shat themselves just moments before our arrival. Secondly, although Fudgie The Whale and Cookie Puss were listed on the menu, there was no sign of them in the store. All the cakes they did have were freezer burned, and to top it all off, one of the shitters that worked there was a real asshole. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that Carvel sucks and I may go back at 4 in the morning and burn it to the ground.

Later on Friday, the aforementioned Sara, hosted a small get together at her place. We stayed there for a few hours and then did a little bar hoping for the rest of the night. See pictures in the Binghamton Part II Gallery (04/18/2003). Psycho Cab DriverPete and I shared a cab home. The cab was piloted by two scumbags. I got dropped off first. Hopefully the shady cab drivers didn’t turn Pete into a human throw rug. Listen here dirtbags, I can positively ID you and if Pete turns up missing, I’m gonna roll over on ya.

[Saturday 04/19/2003] - I had breakfast with Eric and Nurse Tiffany (my brother and sister-in-law) and then I hung out with Andy and Jamie and their kid, Master Brady. Around 4:00pm, I left for Syracuse, where I was reunited with my future bride at the residence of her brother.

[Sunday 04/20/2003] - We ate some Easter Dizzle over at the in-law’s house. Then, Frances and I went home to see our beautiful child Maynard.

I'm all bummed because Pat went home to Binghamton for a few days. I couldn't go because I have to go to stupid work tomorrow. I always hate it when he leaves. It feels like a piece of me is missing. To help me get through this hard time, I've been looking at this recent picture that I have of us with some friends and a lovely lady. I thought I would share it with you all. I hope you enjoy it.

This lady is a stripper!

This weekend, Pat and I attended my best friend Kensey's wedding. The wedding was in Massachusetts. When Pat and I got to about Albany, I realized that I had forgotten my dress! It was way too late to go back, so we ended up stopping at the mall and I grabbed another dress. We ended up showing up to the rehearsal dinner a mere two hours late! What a faux pas.

Everything else was fantastic. After dinner, Pat and I got a bottle of champagne and went over to Kensey's to hang out for a bit. We had a nice toast, Kensey modeled some of her gear for us, and we just hung out and had a nice time. Take a look at the pre-wedding pictures.

The ceremony was absolutely lovely. Kensey and Tim got married in front of a roaring fire. Kensey looked so beautiful. It was such a nice, cozy ceremony. Take a look at the wedding pictures.

I have gotten to know many of Kensey and Tim's friends and family, so it was really great to see all of them again. Let me tell you, those people know how to party. Poor Pat was the DD all weekend, but he said he had the most possible fun that could be had while sober. We had an absolute blast at the reception.

This morning, Pat and I got up and hit the outlet mall in Lee, Mass. I had quite the shopping spree. In fact, my bank even called me due to the suspicious card activity, which I appreciated! I'm not usually that hardcore of a shopper.

On a different topic, I would like to say that patandfran.com is not only a repository for drunken pictures and useless factoids about my meat intake. It also brings old friends together Jenny Jones style. Today, I received an email from a friend of our friend Holly's. She found Holly through our website and contacted me. For a nominal fee, I connected her to Holly. You see, for a price, patandfran.com CAN make dreams come true.

Last night was an amazing night. I really was not expecting much from last night, but it turned out really great. I would like to start out by saying that I've just been in a pretty rotten mood lately. I've been working crazy hours and working my ass off when I am at work. I've been absolutely miserable. It's to the point where I can't even unwind during the weekends. I've been having work dreams even on Saturday night. Now, that's just sick. I've been a huge jerk to my baby's daddy and a lot of my friends. The first awful thing that pops into my head, I say. Things I don't even mean. I don't know how people have even put up with me lately. It's something I feel like I haven't been able to control.

And completely separate to this, Rochester got a huge ice storm. There have been a lot of trees and power lines down (no power lines down in the city because of the underground lines). Due to this ice storm, our plans fell through last night. Since P.Riddy and I can walk to the bars, of course we still went out. We got a hot tip that our friend Jarrod was out at the Old Toad, so we went there. He was indeed there with a couple friends. They had been drinking since 6 so after a couple drinks, they were ready to wrap things up. Naturally, Pat and I went down to Mex.

There, we saw our friends George, Kevin, and Dr. Al. We were chatting with them and then my old friend from college, Susan, walked in the door. She came in with two guys. One of the guys we had met a week before, and he's friends with our friends Mike F and Josh. The other guy, we found out, is the new guy our friend Debbie is dating! It's those kind of Magnolia moments that I love and they make me feel so happy and at home.

On the walk home, we decided to stop by our friends J.D. and Matt's house because the light was on. J.D. automatically opens beers and hand them to us. Now, two things I really like about myself are that I can fall asleep really fast and that I can always tell when I need to say "when". I knew, based on my beer-by-beer deadly accurate basis, that I should not have had another beer. Usually I'm good about saying "no thanks," but J.D. had already opened it, so I graciously accepted. We laughed a lot and called Mike F and I fell down and then I realized I was going to be sick. I told Pat and I needed to leave, so we did. It's a very short walk to our place from there, but it was such a cool walk.It was so eerie and quiet and there were a lot of trees that had a lot more limbs down than when we walked past them the first time. We actually witnessed a big branch fall on one car and then we got to our street and saw that some decent-sized branches hit Pat's old hooptie, which was fun to see. If you haven't seen Ice Storm, you must either rent it or borrow it from us. It's great.

When we got home I promptly puked. All things considered, it was a great night and I was actually able to forget about work for a while and I don't think I was mean to anyone. If anyone is still reading this saga, you've got too much time on your hands. Tee-hee.

File under: Sweet Vernal

I am happy to say that the legendary <*Sweet Vernal*> received our first piece of fan mail today. The fan mail was from Tim “Sweet Vernal’s Biggest Fan” Marino of Rochester, New York. Tim included a work of art with his fan mail. Here is Tim’s pictorial rendition of the Sweet Vernal smash hit Deaf Man Walking (The Jesse Wilson Song).

Sweet Vernal Art by Tim Marino

I would like to let all of the Sweet Vernal fans and admirers know how great it is to hear from them. It really means a lot to V_Murder and me to hear the stories about how we have touched the lives of our fans. It is the fans that make it all worthwhile. I would like to encourage others to make Sweet Vernal artwork and send it to us. I will post all pieces on the <*Sweet Vernal*> page of this site.

And for any of you ladies that want to send your panties, make sure you send them directly to V_Murder, because I'm off the market.
