Day 19: I love buttons

The only thing I really collect is buttons. I have always loved them. Sometimes I sort through them like they're old photographs because I can remember where most of them came from. I plan to figure out something creative to do with them someday. And, someday, I plan to start a business involving buttons. No lie.

#2 Yay for buttons!

Lavery - Thanks for the idea! I think that is great. And when she outgrows the skirt I can take them off and use them for something else!

Sarah - I did the same growing up. I loved looking through my mom's button collection she had in a mason jar. I might need to see if she still has it. (I'm sure she does.) I like this fabric a lot too. That is actually just my ironing board cover. But, shhh, don't tell. :)

#3 i collect buttons too, fran.

i collect buttons too, fran. i never knew we had so much in common. there are lots of things you can do with them....
for instance:
sew ranom ones onto the bottom of a skirt of greta's...it helps the twirl factor.

#4 Love buttons!

Buttons are cool and so is that fabric! When I was a kid I loved going through my mom's button tin.
