Move Over, Martha

File under: food

One of the moms at Greta's day care organized a cookbook for all families interested in participating. Unfortunately, not many people participated, but Greta and I submitted a couple recipes. Check it. In related news, I can't hear "sweet spiced nuts" without giggling. Sometimes I think I share a brain with a twelve-year-old boy. Anyway, since my mom is well known as "Grandma Norma" at the day care, I was sure to include a recipe from her in there.

Bon appétit, yo!

#1 people were crafting with

people were crafting with clients at work the other day and I had to point out to a co-worker how phallic the santa heads on the little popsicle sleighs were. Everyone was amazed at how dirty and immature my brain was. You're in good company...

#2 i got dirty looks at work

i got dirty looks at work recently when i was handed a message to call a woman back who's name was WAY too close to being "mrs. areola"..."how old are you?" i was asked. so, uhm, maybe we share the same 12 year-old brain?!
totally making those nuts!
