Visit to Powers
We went to Powers Farm Market today with our good friend Amy. We went early enough in the day/season that it wasn't completely mobbed, which was a bonus.
Of course we fed the animals.
And perused the pumpkins.
And had doughnuts and cider.
And went in the huge tepees.
It was all fun and games until Pat took Greta on the hayride, which was too scary for little girl. Here is a before shot, while she was still excited.
It was a perfect fall morning, aside from the tears from the hayride.

#1 Jennifer - I know this may
Jennifer - I know this may come as a shock to you, but when I saw her crying I put down my camera so I could give her a hug. Is that bad? ;-)
Sarah - You could NEVER be creepy, but if you ever want to borrow a kid, let me know.
Fatz - It's in Pittsford, on Marsh Rd.
Sarah - Awww, thanks. Yes, we love that hat, and Pat and I love that she'll actually wear it. I was also terrified by those hayrides as a kid. I had NO IDEA this one was going to be at all scary. I mean, it was just a "hayride" and the kids in line were all ages (definitely kids younger than her), and I didn't see any other kid come off the hayride crying...but alas.
#2 Where's the picture of Greta
Where's the picture of Greta scared to death??? Those are the BEST pictures!! Have you ever seen the video of Yuna's first roller coaster ride? OMG she was TERRIFIED and I couldn't stop watching the video and laughing my ass off.
Yes, I'm a HORRIBLE mommy ;-)
#3 i love powers! i went there
i love powers! i went there by myself on a day off a few weeks ago and ate a cookie and fed the animals like a creepy loser.
i also got a kick out of the chicken coop--which was empty. not a single chicken. nothing at all except for hay and one lonely, dirty potato. random, right?
#4 Farm?
Where is the Power's Farm market? We do Gro-Moore Farma and Stoke Farms...not sure where Powers is!
#5 Cuteness!
Greta is the cutest kid ever! Love the hat!
