This is what I did most of the weekend
Monday, September 14 2009 - 10:25AM
I sat in my driveway wearing a fanny pack, talking to friends who stopped by to check out our yard sale and the crazies in the neighborhood. It was actually a really fun time, and I enjoyed wearing the fanny pack way too much.
Thanks to our visitors who stopped by to make the day more fun and buy our crap previously enjoyed goods.

#1 I know I haven't written
I know I haven't written anything on here in a while but two things for you.
First a joke/question. Was that a fanny pack or a "Franny"-pack. hahah
Second on facebook there is a group formed for old Lechmere employees. Sara and Calmon (amongst others) are on there. Just thought I would pass the info.
#2 Baby Stuff
The baby stuff is awesome! Did G. Olive even use it? It's like brand new. Totally worth the drive + Dibella's to boot. Next time we'll have to come again when we can't stay so long : ).
#3 fanny pack
You should definitely keep it as it looks much better on you.
Love,
someone old in your life
#4 OK!
I've pulled it from the shelf again and will read it this time. I've had it well over a year! I have several newspaper and magazine clippings about the author and the book so it must be worth the time. Now, your comments about it will definitely push me ahead. Thanks! Happy the sale was successful and more fun than not. And it is definitely still cool to talk books with you!
#5 Good eye!
Wow, good eye Aunt Kish. And good question about the book. I NEVER would have read this otherwise, but it was selected for my book club (I think I was one of two people who voted against reading this one). Sixty pages in I thought it was awful, but now I have about 50 pages left and I'm sad for it to end. I don't think it's particularly well written and is waaay more melodramatic than I like, but I have learned so much, and it had really changed my thinking about that part of the world and Islam. I am shocked to say I will be putting this in the category of books that changed my life. So hopefully I didn't just overinflate it too much, but I would say, yes, you should finish it..
And we didn't make gobs of money by any means, and we still have TONS of stuff left, but we did okay, thanks greatly to our friends who bought our baby gear. And some kind people even pointed out things that we should hold on to and sell on ebay, at consignment shops, etc, which I thought was very nice!
#6 What are you reading?
It looks like Three Cups of Tea! I have started it twice and keep putting it aside for later. Shall I finish??
Hope you made a clearing!
