Fondue or fondon't
Learning things about my daughter
Greta and I had a wonderful mommy-daughter day today, and during lunch alone Greta said about 30 things that were tremendously cute or hilariously funny (says the girl's mom). The thing I learned about my daughter today, though, after spending almost $50 on crafts for us to do together, is that she doesn't like crafting. I had to chase Greta around for a good half hour to merely trace her hands (gotta love hand turkeys). Even though I was slightly bummed, it sort of warms my heart. I also don't like crafting!
On the docket tomorrow? Shopping for Thanksgiving ingredients (pray for us) and then baking, which I at least know G likes (me too!).

Does anybody really love crafting?? Wonder how well you and Phil liked it when you made hand turkeys with your mom? Anyway, Great-grandma loved getting hers!

Sounds like a great start to the week, Fran! As horrible as it sounds, it's sorta nice that Greta isn't a big crafter. I am not a crafter by nature and my boys both love crafty projects....most of which make me pretty bored. :) I'm a good book reader though. Could do that for a good hour.
Have a fun afternoon!

Ha. Well, one would think that would have worked, but Pat Reed is too suspicious of jive turkeys all up in this piece.
I will say that "Crafting...all day long." from you was way funnier than what you originally intended, though.
As I write this, Greta is watching your copy of Cinderella. "I want to wear a pretty dress and dance with the prince!" Priceless.
PS - Crafting is lame.

Weak. That was supposed to be "Baking/Cooking GREATER THAN Crafting...all day long", where GREATER THAN was a closed bracket. You know, I should have figured that would happen. What kind of programmer am I?
