Zanes on the brain
I am only slightly reluctant to admit that if I'm not specifically listening to something else, I basically always have Dan Zanes songs running through my head. The kicker? I don't actually even mind.
As an aside, Pat loaned some DZ music to a coworker who has kids, and another coworker listened to it without realizing it's "kids' music." (It was the Sea Music album, which, I may have slight musical nerve fatigue, but I would argue is barely for kids.) And coworker #2 said to Pat, "What, is that music for retards??" Um, no, it's for kids, you DB.
Happy Friday.

Inzanes in the membrane, inzane in the brain! I used some of that tunage during last year's music therapy camp (don't worry, we only use *recorded* music during meal and rest times) and became a big fan. I forgot about the brother connection with you in college when I made that choice. Miss you!

Oh no! Those look awful. Dan Zanes is cool if you ask me. Check these lyrics: Well it's all for me grog, me noggin’ noggin’ grog, all for me beer and tobacco. For I spent all me tin with the ladies drinking gin, far across the western ocean I must wander. Not your typical kid music.

I might need to borrow the Dan Zanes CD to go with my John Lithgow ( http://www.amazon.com/Singin-Bathtub-John-Lithgow/dp/B00000I8A3/ref=sr_1... ) and Kenny Loggins ( http://www.amazon.com/Return-Pooh-Corner-Kenny-Loggins/dp/B0000029FW/ref... )
