Ridiculously tired, I am

Monday night, I woke up in a fit of terror probably 10 times. Tuesday night, I needed to sleep so badly, I took sleeping pills. If I had nightmares, I was too dazed to know/remember. Last night, I had the best night of sleep that I’ve had in the last month. I didn’t wake up screaming at all, and I didn’t have any nightmares, necessarily. I did, however, have a pretty distressing dream involving a crazy funeral, a couple chase scenes, downtown Utica, and some sort of entrails (I won’t go into too much detail). Maybe that constitutes as a nightmare; I don’t even know anymore. I did wake up feeling fairly refreshed, nonetheless.

Has this lack of sleep affected my brain?

What? Who said that? Who am I? I may or may not be "going off the rails of a crazy train."

On a lighter note, Tuesday was Patty’s 28th birthday. I didn’t do it up as much as I would have liked to, but I baked him a cake, bought him a few small gifts, and took him out to dinner at Hicks & McCarthy. I hope he enjoyed his birfday. Last year on his birthday, we were sitting on a beach in Cozumel, sipping Corona, but I couldn’t fandangle that this year.

This weekend my parents (and possibly my aunt) are coming out to check out the new digs. I’m excited for them to see the new place. It has finally gotten to a point where I’m not completely embarrassed to show it to people. It still needs a lot of work, but at least it’s mostly unpacked now, and mostly clean. We’re going to show them around the new neighborhood and I’m going to get some much-needed advice regarding the plant life in our yard, and how to stop it from dying. STOP THE KILLIN’!!! (That’s an inside joke that probably only V_Murder will get.)

Hey V murder I wasn't aware of a nice section of Utica, well maybe there is the north side. I mean with the alias V Murder
you should have no problem fitting right in.

FranClub isn't FranCLub when you don't show up - we all just sit around eating clam chowder and giving each other mean looks, with the occasional bitch slap thrown in for good measure. It's sad really. And without the flying ninja kicks - what the hell's the point?

Downtown Utica!!! That is a nightmare to say the least.

STOP THE KILLIN'. It took me a second, but I remembered. That was hilarious!
On another note, this downtown Utica thing intrigues me. As you know, I'm moving to this very same city in October. Maybe the dream catcher I put above my bed is actually working, and channeling the nightmares I'm supposed to be having to you. And your dream is telling me that moving to Utica could possibly be the STUPIDEST decision of my life!
Then again, we are moving to a nice section of Utica, NOT downtown, so I really don't know. One thing I do know is that if your dreaming about Utica, you need to seek professional help immediately!

Amy (and Chris) - thanks so much for dinner last night! I left so full I didn't even go to fight club last night. As a result, I woke up with fewer bruises, scrapes, and burn marks than usual. *Keen*

clam chowder, orange juice, eggplant parm with garlic bread on the side - part of your complete breakfast... er... stomach ache.

#8

damn, I had pizza and I could really use a good brawl about now...

#9

how funny - i just had clam chowder for dinner... does that mean i am in?

The first rule of FranClub: Do not talk about FranClub. The second rule has something to do with clam chowder.

Reeb and Don Jay, you both raise thought-provoking and bold questions.

1. No, I didn't see Nosta in downtown Utica, which is the part about my dream that disturbed me the most, I think.

2. And yes, I think I may have started a fight club...everything seems to fit the profile. I'm pretty much a female version of Edward Norton's character, and Brad Pitt's character is like "the Franimal" in me. We're definitely on to something.

Fran...did you see Nosta in downtown Utica? :-)

Utica, *shudder*, scary stuff.

Seriously though, have you considered that you actualy have a split personality and that your other half has started a fight club for angry element k people? Just a thought...
