Not enough time in the day

We had a fantastic, fun-filled, productive weekend. I'm still a little low on sleep from still waking up at night screaming, but other than that, things are good. We still haven't moved to a new bedroom yet, but we made a lot of advances to make the place feel more like home, so we're getting there. Plus, I've got some tricks up my sleeve.

Friday night was very fun, yet disjointed. Pat and I had made commitments to different friends on the same day, and then neither of us wanted to change our plans. I ended up going to see Garden State, which was absolutely amazing. Then I went to a party with my friend Rosey and a bunch of old friends from college. Pat had Frank, Joyce, and Jerome over to BBQ and watch Monster. Around midnight, I got home from my party, Pat's posse of friends left, and Chris and Amy came over for a while. Multitasking, baby.

Saturday we worked on our house a lot and got a lot more unpacked and organized. I don't ever recall unpacking taking so long, and I don't know why I have such a hard time figuring out where to put things, but I do. Saturday night, we got Ethiopian food at Abyssinia with Chris, Amy, Dave W, Dave's new lady Jen, and two of Amy's college friends. It was very tasty, but my tum got a little miffed, not like it slowed me down. After that, we met up with the Things, and Sara and Corey for some porch-time fun at Cima's. Later, we went back to our house, took a trip to the always entertaining BOD (a.k.a, the new Mex), and then back to our place again. For anyone who has beef with us going to BOD twice in two weeks, I implore you to look at how close the place is to our house, and take that into consideration.

Sunday was more unpacking/organizing/cleaning, followed by a shopping trip to Home Depot and Target, and then a little Six Feet Under.

After reading back through this blog, I found I did a lot of name dropping. When you've got ultra fancy and important friends like we do though, you've gotta drop names.
