We had a very eventful weekend. Friday night, Rebecca hosted her third themed cocktail party. This time, the theme was "ghetto." As I'm sure you can guess, that comes very naturally to Pat and me, so we pretty much just showed up to the party "as is." (Rebecca's Ghetto Party)

We listened to some good upstate New York rap, ate pepperoni, and drank fourties. It was a lot of fun, as always. I dumped a beer on Reeb's carpet in honor of the Things being out of town.

As you all know, I've been a little danger-prone lately. Friday night was no exception. When Pat and I tried our standard Cirque de Soleil routine, I accidentally cut my foot on the ceiling. Ouchy.

Saturday, we met up with Frank and Joyce B, and we headed out to the bustling metropolis of Bouckville, New York (it's out near Morrisville). That's where Vienneau is living these days. We went out there to see him play Judas in Morrisville college's production of Godspell. As always, Vienneau was fantastic. Unfortunately, the production itself was not so hot. Most notably:

  • 1. Jesus had a wicked bad lisp and you couldn't understand a word he sang/said.
  • 2. The set consisted of white boxes with splatter paint.
  • 3. One of the guys in the musical kept mouthing the words of other people's songs.
  • 4. Jesus got bit by the giggle monster during the song Day By Day.

Needless to say, it was quite entertaining. Most of you probably don't know that Vienneau is quite the thespian. Pat and I have seen him in quite a few plays and college-production movies, and it's definitely his calling. This weekend, we also got to meet Vienneau's new girlfriend, Mary Ann. We all thought she was great! When we got back to his apartment, she put on a huge spread. We all hung out, reminisced about old times, and listened to Sweet Vernal LIVE! (Trip To V Murder's House)

Sunday, Mary Ann made us a fantastic breakfast and then we headed out. The Bs took us to Turning Stone. It was my first experience there. I decided to play $10 on slots. I ended up spending $3.10 and then decided to cash in my card; I'm not too into gambling. Frankly, I my money is better spent on hotdogs.

Today, we took our little Ruby to the vet - she's getting spayed and declawed. As I'm sure you can imagine, Maynard is thoroughly enjoying herself.

I would publicly like to thank the Reed's and the Barski's for their visit. MaryAnn and myself had a GREAT time as well. Thanks for the great reviews. See you in May!

Have to say, an AWESOME weekend with the Reed's and Johnathan Vino. (I have noticed my spelling of Vino is unique and actually NOT his proper spelling. Consider it shorthand). JUDAS ROCKS!
