This weekend was very ghetto fabulous, as always. George Ford was in town for his “last trip to Rochester ever.” Friday night, we were scooped up by Melodie and Cheryl, and we met up with George, Kirsten, Don, and Marcel at Mex for a cocktail. The weather was really nice, so we hung out on the porch for a bit. After Mex, we went to the Barrel. There, we met up with Ellen and Ray. It never ceases to amaze me what a dive that place is. After the Barrel, Pat went to Mel and Erik’s, and I went to the Bug Jar for some booty shaking. After we shut down the Bug Jar, we went to a diner for some tasty food.
Saturday, I spent some much-needed quality time with the vaccum, some sponges, and a can of Endust. Our apartment was pretty messy, and it’s still pretty messy, but at least it’s better than it was. After the cleaning spree, we went to Cheryl’s house for a party. It had a beach theme! I love any excuse to wear flip flops in March. Fortunately, Pat’s Speedo was at the cleaners, so he wasn’t able to wear it. He opted for a loud Hawaiian shirt that I bought circa 1990 for some reason I can’t remember now. I find it amazing that with all of the trips I’ve taken to the Salvation Army, that shirt has somehow always made the cut. Anyhoo, the party was fantastic and we got some really fun pictures, which we will be posting soon. Here are a couple to whet your appetites.
Today we ate at Tali (best Indian food in Rochester) and rented i am sam, which was pretty good, but altogether too sad. Now we’re about to head to Rebecca’s to watch Sopranos. And that’s what I like to call good weekend.

George, we're glad to hear that you will be returning to the Chester. We'll do everthing in our power to ensure rock-steady goodness. Maybe we'll light something on fire.
Jason, we had a great time hanging out with you too. Hopefully we can hang again sometime soon. We just posted the picks from Cheryl and April's Beach Party.

hey guys, just wanted to say what's up and that I enjoyed meeting and hanging with each of you. i also wanted to suggest more pictures of me, but not if fran doesn't like that idea; i wouldn't want to cross a kung-fu rockstar.
cheers,
Jason

Okay, P&F, I promise that won't be my "last trip to Rochester ever," but only on the condition that next time is as full of rock-steady goodness as this last one was. Much love--G.
