All right folks, I am all for people being able to express their anti-war sentiments, but I’ve about had it with the civil disobedience taking place on our city streets. I mean, how am I supposed to drive my hot ride down the street when there are hundreds of people blocking it off? This type of protesting is not only illegal, it is down right dangerous. Suppose I want to have seven or eight drinks after work, and I am not paying attention and drive right into the protest. I can’t be held accountable for plowing down dozens of people who should not be in the road in the first place. I respect everyone’s right to gather for a demonstration and I am a firm believer in the freedom of speech, but I expect others to respect my right to drive my hot, tricked-out, Ford Tempo down the street of my choice.
