Golly, where do I start? Well, Friday night, Courtney came into town and Mel and Erik didn't have to work, so that was automatic fun. We went to Esan for dinner. The dinner actually ran pretty late. I had to get up at seven the next morning, so there was no going to Mex for me. I just packed and went to bed. Pat did go out to Mex though. Then he stayed up until 4:45 making me a mix CD for my trip to Massachusetts. What a dove he is.

An hour after he came to bed, I got up and got ready for my road trip. My friend Kensey had her wedding shower this weekend. I saw some old friends and met some of her newer friends. It was a nice time. The bachelorette party was actually the highlight of the trip. The Miller High Life and the Pabst Blue Ribbon flow like water out there in Mass-"flavor country"-achusetts. All I had to say was , "PBR me ASAP". First, we went to the bar that Kensey works at part-time called Double B's. It's kind of a dive, but it's a great dive. I made some friends and scared some locals. Later, we went to a dance club and tore up the dance floor. I got a lot of great pictures while I was out there. I didn't use the digital camera though, so you'll have to wait a bit to see them. Hopefully, they'll be worth the wait.
Yesterday, I made the long trip home and then just crashed on the couch. We ordered a pizza (white pizza with feta and fried eggplant - that info is especially for you, Holly) and watched a movie (8mm - not for the queasy). I was asleep on the couch by 8:30.
It's good to be back home. I have been out of town for the last three weekends. I can't wait to stay home this weekend. If I have to go anywhere, I'm going to cry.
I'll let Pat update you on how his weekend went. It seems like he had some good clean fun.
Oh, one last thing! You'll notice that there are new Links of Interest on the page. Those were provided by Dr. Erik Thing. If you don't like them, you can blame him. ;-)
Keep it real,
Fran
